Developed in the mid-1970s, Bonnie Prudden Myotherapy offers profound relief
from pain and the restoration of movement. Bonnie Prudden has an early background as
a professional dancer and world-class mountain climber. In the 1950s she was the first
woman on a nationally viewed exercise program, The Today Show with Dave Garroway. Bonnie helped President Eisenhower institute the President's Council on Physical Fitness
in the 1950s.
Bonnie developed her Myotherapy and exercise in the mid-1970s with
Orthopedist Dr. Desmond Tivy. She is the author of 27 books and is known widely for
her contributions in physical fitness and pain erasure. Her book Pain Erasure is widely
recognized as a fundamental contribution in the treatment of muscular pain.
