Join us for this weekly morning yoga class and allow the practice of a asana (postures) and pranayama (yogic breathing techniques) to bring energy and focus back into your life. As you breathe and relax in meditation and savasana, feel the tension slip away and face life with renewed energy. A light breakfast of coffee, tea and granola bars will be provided following class.
KATHY QUACKENBUSH, RYT, has been practicing yoga for 7 years. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher® and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and the Green Yoga Association. Kathy often feels like a translator, relating especially to people who ordinarily would not imagine they could do yoga, and welcomes the opportunity to guide her students to discover their true capacity for stretching, breathing, and relaxing into life. Kathy’s personal yoga practice and teaching practice are inspired by her own teacher and mentor, Carolyn Roslund, with roots in the Kripalu Yoga tradition.
