This practice will guide you through warm-up stretching, breathing, basic yoga postures, and meditation and relaxation. Options for modifications of postures are also offered. Learn to practice the art of living with heart and compassion for yourself and others.
KATHY QUACKENBUSH, RYT, has been practicing yoga for 7 years. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher® and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and the Green Yoga Association. Kathy often feels like a translator, relating especially to people who ordinarily would not imagine they could do yoga, and welcomes the opportunity to guide her students to discover their true capacity for stretching, breathing, and relaxing into life. Kathy’s personal yoga practice and teaching practice are inspired by her own teacher and mentor, Carolyn Roslund, with roots in the Kripalu Yoga tradition.
