Gentle Yoga is designed for those who want to take it slower. Classes focus on releasing tension, connecting with the breath and working with the joints. Gentle Yoga is appropriate for students with limitations, including seniors and individuals recovering from injury or disease, as well as those yogis who already are quite fit, but who lack the overall flexibility to be able to do some of the more intense poses. Special emphasis is placed on improving balance, strength and range of motion for everyday activities.
CYNDI PRUD’HOMME, RYT, began her love affair with yoga in 1997 while a completing her Master of Social Work degree. She enjoys helping her students connect with Hatha Yoga as a practical means to reduce stress, increase balance, improve body/mind/spirit awareness and enhance relationships with themselves and others.
