February. Outside it’s cold, wet and miserable.  Inside our cozy homes we can dream of sun-warmed tomatoes and sugar snap peas tasted right from the vine. This cold month is the wonderful time of year when perfect gardens take shape in our imaginations. In this workshop we will go through the planning process that will enable you to use your time and space more efficiently for that perfect productive garden. You will come away with a list of seeds and transplants, a map of your garden and a calendar or plan for when to plant. This plan will include information on companions, successions and rotations for healthy soil and a productive garden.

HOPE REQUARDT has been obsessed with vegetable gardening pretty much all her life. She became a life member of Seedsavers Exchange in 1987 and has maintained several varieties of tomatoes and squashes since then. She is a master gardener and has taught organic gardening and animal husbandry for 10 years.
