Original works by more than twenty local artists and artisans will be offered for sale at Evergreen Cove’s Ninth Annual “Handmade from the Heart” Show Saturday, December 5 from 10 am until 3 pm, with no admission charge.  In addition, a benefit preview party on Friday, December 4 from 5 pm to 8 pm, also open to the public, will provide the opportunity for a first look at artists’ wares as well as wine and refreshments for a donation of $20 per person ($35 per couple)  Both events will take place at the Historical Society Auditorium in Easton. 

This is a wonderful opportunity to purchase those special and unique holiday gifts for family, friends and even a special something for yourself or home.   In recognition of the economy, artists have been encouraged to include a number of modestly-priced items among their offerings.   Come and enjoy this fun and creative event.

This year’s show will feature returning artists Sue Stockman (jewelry), Connie Delamater (decorative and wearable felting), Parran Collery (ceramic tiles), Heidi Wetzel (woven wall hangings and baskets), Ruth Ann Kondylas (body care goods), Ken Sadler (ceramics), Lisa Pierson (jewelry), Kit Wright (fabric art) and Lainie Wrightson (photography/decorative items), Paul Aspell (pottery/ceramics), Anna Grace Harding (aprons and handbags), Damaris Bourland (jewelry, watches) and David Stevens (photography.) 

New artists presenting this year are Elizabeth Bohaker (jewelry), Christine and Andrew Parrish (recycled sailcloth bags), Stephanie Goddard (woven fiber items), Wayne Wheeler (wood decoys and novelty items) Lin Layton (photography), Suzie Pearson (gourd baskets, metal art) and Phillip Varady, Sr. (wood boxes, benches, tables.)
