All you need is two pairs of pliers and a pile of jump rings! Friends will be asking you where you got your amazing piece of jewelry, and you can proudly say, “Why, I made it myself!” You will learn the Byzantine Rose pattern of chain maille, an ancient technique used by medieval knights to create their armor. The technique has been adapted for use in creating beautiful jewelry chains. During this workshop, you will learn the Byzantine Rose weave by completing your own sterling silver bracelet. Tools will be provided for your use, but if you have a favorite set of jewelry pliers, please feel free to bring them.
Bring a bag lunch, and a wash cloth to keep your work from bouncing off the table.
