Naomi Hyman began her career in software sales and marketing before making a career change in 1989. Since then she has worked in a variety of educationally and spiritually oriented organizations as a manager, consultant, congregational leader and teacher. She is a dedicated contemplative with extensive retreat experience and whose spiritual practices are drawn from the Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu and Sufi traditions. She has co-led meditation retreats with contemporary kabbalist Rabbi David Cooper as well interfaith Auschwitz Bearing Witness Retreats with Roshi Bernie Glassman. In 2003, she was ordained as a rabbi in the Jewish contemplative tradition. Naomi teaches classes in Kabbalah, meditation, prayer and sacred text.
