My earliest passion was the natural world. I felt a strong connection to nature from early childhood and always knew my career would take me down a path that allowed me to share that connection. Environmental and experiential education has been a natural fit. I have worked around the world in national parks, remote villages, environmental education centers and now in a more traditional education setting. Each position has given me an opportunity to explore and expand my own passion while trying to ignite a spark of excitement in others.
As an adult I became aware that the natural world expands far beyond the visible trees and soil and creatures. It also lies in the hidden energies and healing powers found all around us. Evergreen Cove is a community of people from a wide variety of backgrounds and beliefs who have come together to learn and to share what they have learned while on a journey to explore their own passions of the natural world.
I am flattered and very excited to serve on the Board of Evergreen Cove and to serve this community in any way that I can.
