Deborah Pulzone

Professionally I have been an Interior Designer for 20 years.  I believe our homes are our refuge and have thoroughly enjoyed working with my clients to create a pleasing environment for them to escape to, entertain in, and enjoy all the aspects of home life.

In the community service arena I worked for 5 years on the major fund raiser for the Mental Health Association of Talbot County, the Annual Antiques Show & Sale.  I found satisfaction in helping to produce an event that was enjoyed by the community and also provided much needed funds for the less privileged individuals in our county.  Also, for two years I was an active EMT, Emergency Medical Technician, with the Oxford Fire Department and hope to resume this again in the near future.

My other passion in life began in 1990 when I took my first Iyengar yoga class and became hooked.  I have practiced ever since and five years ago began to teach.  I receive joy in helping my students open their body, mind, and heart, to feel lighter and less stressful.  I am currently studying Anusara yoga which is well grounded in the proper physical alignment of the body while opening our heart to grace in order to live a more conscious life.

I am pleased to be on the board at Evergreen Cove with many talented and diversified individuals who have a strong commitment to our community.
